My in-car video to be featured on Shifting Gears show
I raced last weekend at Buttonwillow Raceway Park and shot some in-car video.
Someone sent a copy of my Sunday video to the Internet show Shifting Gears. Each week the show features a track and shows in-car video. If you want to tune in the show is broadcast on www.racinboys.com in audio at 7:00 PM CDT as a live call in and e-mail talk show about all stuff SCCA. It is posted with videos to the web about an hour later.
Below is the post made on a local forum that got there attention.

Corvette Power, Yeah Baby!!! - A video testimonial
Unfortunately a great battle for 1st and 2nd place was cut-short on Saturday due to a mechanical on my car. The race on Saturday a braided steel oil cooler line rubbed a hole through my aluminum radiator. I found out that when braided steel meets aluminum, braided steel wins. The air temperature was around 106 degrees, so in lap six when I lost most of my coolant, the computer kicked in and shut me down for that race. I finished with less than a gallon of coolant!
Well, not to be deterred, the folks at Seven's Only helped me fix the leak. Believe it or not, the quick and effective solution was JB Weld! I missed qualifying for my Sunday race due to repairs so I had to start from the back of the pack.
Saturday was a good T1 regional race, but I am the only SoCal driver right now with a national license so I ran solo on Sunday against other lower HP cars.
This video is testament to the power of the stock C5 Corvette Z06. Unfortunately the video shut-off after five minutes of racing, but you can see what a blast it was....
Everyone asks if I passed the Camaro at the end. The answer is yes, I pass it about 10 seconds after the video cut-off.
I thank all the volunteers and drivers at SCCA who make these races possible.
Life's A Gas....

Turn up the VOLUME.
If you liked that video you will probably like this one better, although I get impatient and totally over-drive the car in a bad way with an ugly end to the video....
