HPDE @ Summit Point Main July 11 - 2008
Here is the info for the HPDE run by the Northern VA CC. Lots of run time on a newly paved track surface. Come join us.
HPDE at the Summit Point Main Circuit on Friday, July 11th, 2008, from 7AM - 5:30PM. Registration has begun and will be open to 25 per group (novice, intermediate, and advanced), for a total of 75 slots. Since this is a high speed event, rules require a MOUNTED fire extinguisher and roll bars in convertibles, long pants and long sleeved shirt, and closed toe shoes. Cars must pass a tech inspection.
If you have any questions, please email George Kerns at whiskeytahoe@comcast.net.
PLEASE SIGN UP EARLY! If we do not get enough paid drivers early, the event risks cancellation!
Directions to track: Take Route 7 West past Leesburg toward Winchester, VA. (You may wish to take the Route 7 Leesburg bypass to avoid downtown Leesburg.) Continue on Route 7 West past the Berryville exits and turn right onto Route 632 (Crums Church Road). Follow 632 until you reach the "T" intersection (where you must turn right or left). At that intersection, turn right onto Route 761 (Old Charles Town Road). Continue on 761 until you reach the next "T" intersection. Make a right turn and follow 300 yards. The entrance will be on your right.

For $175 and a well-run event with plenty of track time, we are the best deal out there

A good deal. Wish I could scare up more folks so you could do more events! Maybe communication w/ clubs from surrounding states? The ernccc site has the event but I don't know how many people really know about it.

I think the people planning the event have contacts with many different car clubs in the area that they send these event announcements to. If you know of any car clubs who would be interested in this, let me know, and if we didn't already send them the info, I'll make sure they get it.

All the East Region NCCC clubs are on it ...
I've told all the potential participants in my club (G-Burg Vettes)
However ... NVCC needs to get the link fixed from the Summit Point schedule - it does not link to the NVCC site registration page (at least for me)

I think our webhost had a backup problem there. The document was there but the link text reverted to that of the old form. It has been corrected on the autoX page: http://www.nvcorvetteclub.com/autox.html Make sure you clear your cache (hold the shift key while clicking the reload button).
But this direct link has always worked: http://www.nvcorvetteclub.com/Forms/...DEJuly11th.pdf
And so has the forum link with the registration attachment: http://www.nvcorvetteclub.com/nvccfo...46&postcount=5

BTW ... you gonna do video? Now that I've run Shenandoah I can still gain knowledge from reviewing your video of that.

No, its not done, bills came up and well the race car is the last one to get any money. I hope to have some time this week to tear it apart and get ready for a nice turn one pump with other stuff.
