Default Another SCCA Classing question

I have a 2008 C6 Z51 convertible that is completely stock...except that I have Z06 body panels, wheels and tires.

Would I run in the SS class???

Thanks for the help.

Sorry Charley -

Neither the different wheel sizes or body panels are allowed in stock classes...

Then which class would I run in??

So you are saying that a C6 Z06 would run in the SS class...but, a C6 with Z06 fenders, wheels and tires would have to run in a modified class???

Sorry Charlie...The fenders put you in SM2 I believe. You can cut the fenders and add flares in ASP but you can't replace a body panel...go figure. Them's the rules....

The wheels put you in ASP, but the fenders bump you to SM2.

Correct. You simply are not allowed to "build" a car which the factory did not and run it in the Stock class.
