Default Wheels and Slicks combo on C6 Z51 ???

I posted earlier asking for R compound Tire/Wheel that can driven on the street and track. I have decided to go with slicks on the track (with my Mich PS2's as rain back up option).

I really appreciate your experience with F & R wheel-Tire combinations for a C6 A6 w/ Z51 pkg. I do not race but really enjoy my HPDE days
Thanks.

Even for that application, I still love the CCWs, but I'd wrap some Hoosier R6s around them if I wasn't driving on them to get to the track.

A friend just got CCW 18x10front, 18x11rear. Personally, I'm cheap, just run 18" C5 wheels on it. Either any of the 9.5's front and 10.5 z06 rims in the rear, or 10.5's all the way around. You can run anything from a 275 to a 315 on the 10.5" rims.

For the track if you're willing to run a bunch of camber (-2deg or more) in the front 18x11 works well; I have 295/30r18 Toyos, I suspect the Hoosiers would also fit. In the rear the choice would likely be the 315/30r18 Hoosiers, again on 18x11 or maybe x11.5 or x12 -- I have 305/35r18 Toyos on 18x11. Just call John@CCW and talk to him about your application and he'll get you what you want/need.

Thanks. But does the ABS, AH, and other "driver assist" stuff get out of wack with wrong size (circumfrance) tires?
