Anyone Using the Speed World Challenge R888 Scrubs

Used 275 front's and 305 rears both on stock ZO6 10.5 in rims this past weekend. I was impressed. I did not think they would stick as well as they did. This was a set I picked up from John Berget that were used at Long Beach event earlier this year. I found them very predictable. I have run RA1's in the past and for this course (long sweepers with only 3-4 sharp turns) I thought they were as good as if not better than RA1's.
I found they were about 2 sec per lap slower than new R6's on about a 2 min 10 sec course. I haven't tried comparing them with a used set of R6's with the same number of cycles but I would not guess a drastic difference with my car and driving style.

Same here. I like 'em. I just ran stock wheels on the Z at Road Atlanta a couple of weeks ago with some new 888's and I found them better than the RA1's I had before. Unless one has a full T1 suspension type setup, I believe the 888's might be the way to go with possibly an extra set of 710's or r6's in reserve for a little friendly competition.

I have recently purchased my second set of 315/35-18 R888 scrubs. I run them square on C5 Z06 rears (18 x 10.5). Tires seem very predictable/linear although not as fast as A6 or R6. I've experienced good wear out of them as well.
