Default Need Help: F55 owners that installed Coilovers - please come in!

I'm ready to remove my F55 suspension system (shocks, etc.) to install a set of adjustable shocks with my T1 sways and springs.

Can someone please send me a set of instructions on how to delete the F55 RPO from the computer to avoid warning messages and error codes?

I believe Tech II is required to do this - can HP Tuners do this as well? I plan to do this soon once I get assistance from the forum - tuners, shops, owners.

Thanks in advance!! Mike

Anyone??? There has to be 2003 and 2004 C5s that had their F55 removed for adjustable shocks or coilovers. Appreciate the info. Thanks.

Mike,

I don't see anything in HPTuners that can do that.

You at Summit this weekend?

Place resistors in the ends of cable connectors that attached to shocks.

There is a thread in the C506 section on this right now.. it appears you can have the dealer (TECH II) disable RPO F55 so it doesnt throw a code..

good luck!

BINGO!! I checked with my dealer and the Corvette Tech there said he could easily delete the F55 RPO in my '04 with Tech II - no problem! Wow - if only my other questions were as easy...

I'll be at Summit Point this weekend for Hyperfest 2008, but will be driving my 'lil "Track Rat" - Celica GT since my vette is getting some upgrades at the shop. Mike

No sims available for the F55 like they have for the F45, but the TECH II is the better approach for either situation.
