C4R Race Car build Up Galleries
Hi,
Many of you know me from my long presence here on the forum but I have only become active again recently on the site since getting a C4 street car, and started prepping it for the track.
I thought it might be interesting for some to see the buildup pics of C4R,"Big Red" This car was truly a monster, in her final form: 600 hp solid roller 415 CI Dart motor, 2750#s, 305/35/17 Goodyear GSCS on 11" A Molds all around, Alan Blaine, (Santa Cruz, CA.) custom fabrication from soup to nuts. Raced Mainly at Laguna Seca in 2004/5, About 1 second off the lap record with the little 377 ci motor. Poverty induced sale in 2005 after blowing the big motor too many times.

feel free to ask ?s if any on any pics.
I realize the biggest change in the last few years since I was active on the board is the number of C5 and C6 guys tracking and racing, which I love to see but there are still some of us C4 racing guys around.
Thanks
Evan

Racer
Like the build, reminds me of the panoz, I lived in the garage with it for the past six months. Interesting how we gravitate to race cars as one of the last real bastions of freedom. I have build boats, cars, houses all with the same idea of fun, and satifiaction of the build.

Hey Mitch,
Too bad you never made it out for a day at Laguna, You're one of the few
people I would have let drive her.
Since you bring up boats...

These are a few of the projects that I played with over the last few years since we stopped racing.
Working on the Donzi w the 350 SBC was just like working on a vette and lots of parts came out of my racing bin.
