Ron Fellows p2! only by .3 MPH so i expect him to get pole tomorrow.

for folks that were watching -- aren't these cars sprung too stiff? / too much front swaybar / shocks too stiff.

i see lots of cars lifting a wheel off the ground on several corners, also lots of inside front tire smoke under braking. wouldn't it be better to keep the car on the ground?

i didn't get the chance to see how Ron was treating his car.

Qualifying was yesterday, Fellows starts 22nd.

Yes, 4 wheels have more grip than 3, but NASCAR is so used to coil binding, and riding on the bumpstops for increased aero grip, that I think mechanical grip gets forgotten.

Yep, today was final practice, or "happy hour".
