AND GM offer squat as usual even in terms of technical support. Even Chrysler will help all running Viper comp coupe. AND Reily here's you car over weight and half baked. just cut me the 500,000 plus dollar check.

Really sorry to hear that financial struggles are conspiring to stop this amazing effort. It's a tough moment in time to be out asking corporate America for money - hopefully that will change in the near future.

Whatever the outcome, I'm sure Lou will find a way to come out on top of this. Would be a shame to see them racing a non-Corvette though!

Good luck LG Motorsports - if only I were "funded" I'd be on the phone with you now.

That's a bummer. I hope Lou can find some sponsorship.

Hey Lou, have you hit up Bell helicopter over in Arlington? They are selling helicopters to the oil guys (and others) like crazy. Now would be a good time for some more intense marketing in that area.

Thats the crappy part, that LG is taking the Corvette to another level that a bunch of us Pizza and beer guys love to cheer on and GM isnt kicking in, even just enough to let the car run (support your cars guys, this is a pro series with exposure. It cant always just be about GT1... geez

Hope something works out for you Lou.

hi guys

Just to put this in perspective, we spent 1.2 million to get to this point. It takes about $150,000 per race on a low budget. There are 7 races left. Do the math

I can't sell enough Corvette parts to make that kind of money.

I look at what we did as a blessing that I would have never imagined possible when I started racing.

Things always work out.

Thanks

Lou G

I thought that article was well written. I also thought when I first heard of your problems LG that maybe the corvette forum community could pull together some funds but I dont know that we could come up with 150k. Is there something we can do to find you a sponsor? I mean there has to be someone on this forum somewhere that would be interested in becoming a sponsor to help you out.

I am really sorry to hear the news. My girlfriend surprised me with tickets to the Lime Rock event for my birthday as I have been going on and on about a Corvette being in GT2 this year. I was looking forward to cheering Lou on. I hope this situations works out soon and good luck in your future endeavors.
