Default Great tires and service from Bob Chick

just got 4 "new" scrubs from Bob Chick. Ordered yesterday, here today......CMP cleaned me out, and need to have spares for NCM next week.

Anyway, never had new slicks before, but I can't imagine them being much better than Bob's scrubs. At 20% of the new tire price (guessing), I'm sure I'll be back for me. Bad thing is, since I've move to a real city, it costs as much to mount them as Bob charges to sell them!

I was a JOB.........I don't plan on doing it again any time soon.

For the record, it is 1 corner less crappy than before (still 50% crappy)

Statistically, it had to happen.....I'm only an hour away, and it's been two years. Hopefully it will be two more (although I did have fun with the folks I was with). Gave about 15 "rides" to visitors, instructed 3 students, chorded 2 tires, changed one set of pads, and got sunburned!

Looking forward to VIR for some REST!

I've been getting scrubs from Bob for years. Great stuff, great prices, etc.

I wish I could lie and tell you guys they were crap so you wouldn't buy the sizes I need, but I can't do that in good conscience

He has DOT's as well, but I'm not sure how many A's he gets in.

it's gotten harder for him to get tires from many series due to liability issues (ie the tire companies would rather destroy them than have them resold and have something go wrong).

One last note on CMP, not only did I go through more hardware than 3 weekends at VIR, my brake ducts caught on fire.....a first for me!
