Default tire wear on insides

both side on my inner front tires (INNER MOST 1 INCH or so) were wearing really fast compared to other areas of my tire it almost looked real weird. almost like the inner was a valley and the rest of tire was a plateau

anyone else has that happen on their Z?

looks like time to get an aliignment

here are some pics

same wear on each driver and passenger side

How much camber are you running on the front ?? Mine are in the same shape except the whole inner tread block is worn down. I run 1.5 deg negative in front as a street track compromise. Your situation could also be a bad toe setting ----- count on getting front tires shortly - you will be in the cords within a few miles.

The settings will really depend on what type of driving ( how much street - how much track) you do. Check out the Tire Rack and Phoenix performance web sites for recommended settings. Also do a search here and in the tire section - lots of good info.

Stock C5 Z06 specs (not the same as stock C5) are a pretty good street/autox/track compromise.

HTH, and have a good one,

Mine and many others have worn the same way. It is normal for the alignment to be out of factory spec. I had mine aligned and it solved the problem.
