What seats fit on the C5 manual seat tracks? Do they need adapters?

On the East Coast, try Mid Atlantic Trading in NJ. http://www.midatlantictrading.com/
And of course, the Hardbar seat rail system is the standard. You can use any side mount seat that fits in the car, Sparco, Momo, OMP, Recaro, Cobra. Kirkey, Butlerbuilt, etc. You can kludge up something on the stock seat rails, but it will cost you head room (alot!) and it will never have the super solid feel or safety that the Hardbar system has. Here are a couple of pics of the Cobra Imola with our rails and a Teamtech Rampac HANS harness in Chris Ingle's car.

I have a spare C5 manual seat track that I want to use to install a racing seat on the passenger side of the car. I want it on slides so passengers can move it back and forth to some degree. I was hoping to use a bottom mount seat and avoid all sorts of brackets to adapt the seat to the track.
I already have an Ultarshield on Hardbar rails on the drivers side so am just looking for a single seat solution.

Burthseth racing I am about to put an Untrshield 18 inch seat in My 64 Grandsport. They will be cuting the sides down for me for easier access. I only have 19" width to work with 21 inches from the back. I did not see a Cobra seat that would fit the bill, did I miss something?

Sparco Seat
If you are in NJ. It looks like you might be by your screen name.
Try Rick at Midatlantic Trading http://www.midatlantictrading.com/
He is in New Egypt NJ.
Tell him I sent you. He stocks most seats, so you can sit in them before you buy. I almost bought a Sparco Evo XL, but it did not fit in the car well. He spent the time with me to try it in the car at his place before I made the purchase. Good thing he did or I would have made a bad purchase.
