Default Hawk HP Plus with R Compounds?

Will Hawk HP+ pads work well with R compounds. Track is Hallett which is hard on brakes. I'm an advanced DE driver with Z06 suspension and 425 HP to the rear wheels.

I inherited a brand new set but am afraid I'll melt them.....

Appreciate your thoughts.

HP+ about one maybe two days, if you brake early. Any late braking and they will be toast by the end of that day

You might be better off selling those and getting some DTC-70 or DTC-60 pads.

If you brake hard and often hard you may over heat them and get fade.
It's wasn't fun for me.

Cooling will help them live longer but keep a close eye on them. Once they overheat and start chunking, they'll destroy the rotors. Like AU N EGL said, brake early.

Thanks guys. Pretty much what I thought. I normally run PFC 01 or DTC 70. I'll sell them or use them one day that I run my streets.

I've been wanting to try my Vredestein's on the track just for the hell of it........

I just bought a set of DTC-70's. I was well stocked from last year so did not need any until now. I was shocked to see that they incresed in price over $100.00. WOW!!!
