That little car with the Busa motor screams doen the straight away !! I wonder how it corners and brakes ?? Very short wheel base and high center of gravity would make it really squirrelly if not downright dangerous in the esses. What type of brakes does the stock car have and what could they do for a seriously needed upgrade ?

In seriousness the Smart car is a great disappointment to me in that the fuel economy on the highway is not that great. To make the supreme sacrifice that is driving a car that looks like that, it should get 60-70 mpg hwy.

Not sure we will ever get to 60-70mpg with 4 wheels. My friends BMW bike only gets 50 mpg hwy but he's doing 75-80 mph most of the way and this bike can accelerate almost as well as a C5Z.

Agreed on the mpg's - the VW's are in the 50 range with diesels. I'd sure have fun around town in a busa smart car though....

Look at the size of the tires on that thing. Track must be increased by 4". With the short wheelbase and rear engine, how easy is it to wheelie?

As if you need any more proof that Europeans are nutz (and that an American lawyer would starve over there).

This car is from a company called Zcars in the UK. I have a customer that knows them and they are cleaning up the track with super fast little cars.
