Default Need 17" Track Wheels for CMP

Trying to hook up a fellow Vette competitor with a set of knock off GS 17 inch wheels for CMP this weekend. He is backordered on his set I really need him on top of his game so we can have him on the podium (below us of course).

Any leads appreciated....

If he's got lengthened wheel studs, I've got a set of Kodiak wheels that I'm very motivated to sell.

I've got a set of CCW's I'd be willing to let y'all borrow if you can find a way to get them from Nashville (ish) to CMP and back. Just let me know!

Check with Johnny (racerwannabe) and see if he has any sitting around the shop. I think I saw in another thread that he's gonna be there this weekend.

I'll be bringing a backup set of ZO6 Speedlines with me all with stock supercar tires. He can use my 18's if needed as they're nearly bald anyway. The front's are pretty new so I don't really want to use them at the track. I'm only bringing them in case it rains.

Wow you guys are awesome, thanks for summoning the troops, Jeff!!

I'm willing to borrow/rent a set of wheels and tires of any sort if someone doesn't want to part with them permanently, or buy a set of 17s (with tires hopefully) if the price is right. It's a bone stock C5 Z06, stock studs as Jeff said.

Beerkat, I'd be interested in seeing what you have if they're for sale, and racerwannabe, if you don't mind I can toss a few bucks your way for tire rental for the weekend. Out of curiosity, what tires do those 18s have on them?

Thanks again for the support, you guys are the best!

They are not for sale but I would loan them to you.

My wheels have NT01's on them. My question is how do I get them to you? I live in Myrtle Beach. I am planning on comin up to CMP some time Saturday to watch and hang out. If you need them sooner we would need to find middle ground to get them to you.

Beerkat, that would be awesome, thanks so much. Myrtle Beach is a bit of a haul for me, but I can get them from you at the track if that's ok with you. What time saturday were you planning on getting there?

You must be Michael. You're the only other Vette in TTA for this event. I have some GS wheels with Hoosier A6s on them. They are 295/17 and 315/17 which may be a bit larger for that class but maybe the TT director could overlook them this one time...

You're welcome to try before you buy if you like. I'll be in black Z06 in DE4.

That is me indeed. Even if I borrow a set for this weekend, I'll still be looking to buy a set, so I'm definitely interested in seeing what you have if it's not a pain to bring them along to the track with you. As for the points thing, we'll see...

Meh. It's only like 2-4 points difference between 295 and 315. Hoosiers vice Toyo is the main points issue: Hoosiers are +10, and Toyo are +5. Not a big deal if you started with a stocker, but if you're in a C5Z at TTA +7, you're close...

Since Khoi is going to bring his back up set to you on Friday I'll not bring mine up. That way Patch can drive her car.

See you Khoi, Jeff, and crew around noon Saturday

Sounds good, thanks again guys. I'll be at the track Friday evening, I've got a yellow C5 Z06, #18. I'll probably have camp set up in the corner next to the false grid area by the front straight unless I can get near a 110v hookup somewhere else. See you at the track!

unfortunately it is the TTS vs TTA points for R compounds... (+14)

the NT01 315s are OK (+11) with no other mods...
