Nice car and good price. One helpful thing, who ever gets the car tell them to be carefull if torn down on heads in a SCCA T1 event.

In class T1 you can only use the stock GM yellow LS6 springs. Not hard at all to change back and the cost is only $55.00 for the parts plus a few hours labor.

Good luck on the sale.

2002s had stiffer valve springs than the 2001s. they are "Stock GM LS6 Valve Springs".

Just sell the stupid thing. Track is over-rated. Cruising around in your AMG is easier on the heart, ya old pimp.

Well, on that dyno, it's about 3 WHP more than Oli's car made with a new crate motor.

It's basically just a tune.

We figure the bearings have loosened up nicely over the years on track.

OK, but you have to let me drive a car from your fleet of ricers this weekend at cal speedway. You can watch, if your heart can take it. Or better yet, I can drive your throttle blippin downshiftin kraut rocket! (That was almost reason enough to buy that car)

AMG is pimp.. I think it does 90-135 better than the vette ever did. It's weird going that fast without the deafening wind noise and violent shaking.

yeah this is true, but you guys have to understand Dynos can be plus or minus 20 rwhp. they are just a guideline for comparison. ie before and after tune/mod etc

but 387 is the highest i have read about for stock some of these engines are just better than others! he got a good one and obviously broke it in perfectly

Yeah. Mine is making 353 at the wheels, though without a good tune. 387... is where I want it to be.

I think it's a damn shame when a rare, speedway white Z06 (classic) is butchered for track use.
