Default Front Air Dam

Noticed today that my driver side air dam is "wore" down about 1/8th of an inch ... passenger side is fine ... Then looking at some photos from F&S at VIR i can see where the air dam is nearly on the ground in a number of turns. I am only lowered about 3/4" to 1" with proper rake... Most everyone have this same issue?

I am about to install a set of Koni shocks... Will this limit the roll?

The side air dams aren't a big deal, just leave it alone. The center forces air into your radiator however, so if it gets bent or damaged, it needs to be repaired.

However, to limit roll, you need stiffer bars are springs. In theory, shocks are just for dampening the spring, NOT for overall suspension stiffness.

Yeah, wear item. When I put better rubber on the car I started really wearing down the outer plastic bits. Gene Cully (www.gmpartshouse.com) has them for real cheap if you want to start wearing down a fresh set at some point. :-)

I am almost thru my second set on both sides. I have already worn the lip off of both of them. Time to call Gene again real soon!
