Default Heat cycling tires

From what I've read, heat cycling is important for track tires. Do the tire distributors do a good job of this ( any control and documentation)? Are you better off yourself? (That now puts you in a position of having a minimum of 2 sets of tires and wheels.)

What they do is far better than what you can do on the streets and highway. On public roads you can't go fast enough or push hard enough to get the tires up to operating temperature. On a hot day with speeds in the 70-80 mph range you might get the tires up to 130 degrees but you need them close to 200 before you can consider them heat cycled.
