Default NCM HPDE Road America Pictures

Hi All,

Here are some pictures taken on 8/10/2008 at the registration for the NCM HPDE Road America Event. I hope you enjoy them.

What a great crowd! I have counted 8 ZR1s so far. I have heard there will be 11. All colors represented.

More pictures will follow as the event proceeds. Stay tuned for more.

This was check in, tech, and drivers and instructors meeting.

Dean was swapping out tires. He had his streets on for running around town, now he has on the track tires.

Everyone was having a good time. I took 182 pictures today and only posted a handfull. I will be giving the NCM copies.

I hope to take MANY more over the next couple of days.

I assume you mean on the ZR1s?
If so, yes that is the stock wheel configuration. It's kind of a combination of the C6 Z06 and a ghost of the original C5 "Wagon wheel" offset from one another to form a 10-spoke look.

Great looking wheels on the car - even better in person than in the pics!

cgh1,
Yes that is what I meant. They are very attractive. I ordered chrome on my ZR1 but I think that the stock wheels are very nice too

Default Awesome time had by all!

This was one of the most fun tracks and events I've ever been to! The NCM staff and the GM people were all great! About 2 million dollars worth of ZR-1's (with the dealer mark-up! ) just sitting around and tearing up the track - Although Dean's Z06 managed to run one down and pass it!

I can hardly wait for the next event!

Note to Roc.....PLEASE BRING THE SHOW OUT WEST AGAIN!!
