Where can we track our cars and try to top them out? I'd like to find a safe track where I can push the car to its limits and see how fast I can get her to go.

PS I live just North of Houston, TX.

They will limit your speed in most events depending on your safety equipment. Do a track event for some fun. Top speed is OK but accelerating, turning, and slamming the brakes is great. When the choice is turn or hit a wall at 165 a track event has some pucker power. Doing 130 in a corner or more is also a thrill.
