Default Wheels and tires for super stock Z06

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...959&highlight=

I am selling a set of OEM Z06 wheels and Hoosier A6 tires. I am finally moving to a C6 Z06!

Can't act on your offer, but I hope to get some take off R6's with decent life left that will fit on stock C5Z06 rims ... so question is ... what sizes were/are the A6's you have/had on stock rims?
Thanks,
:

Stock C5 Z06 wheels will take 295/35/17 fronts and 315/30/18 rears. Hoosier A6's.

Congrats with the car purchase. Just hope you won't be autoxing the C6Z06----because for autox it's slower than the car you sold-----but only for autox.

Good Luck with the car. Did you get a 1LZ or did you go with all the heavy junk ?

Mungo - The tires are 275 front and 315s on the rears. Over the years I have had many different sizes and brands and this combination worked great for me.

Lehman - I have to disagree. We have long, high speed courses here in El Paso and the c6 Z06 is a faster car about 95% of the time. I haven't purchased the new Z yet, I am searching for a combination that I like as much as the last one.

Thanks guys.

Thanks ... Appears that either will work for front, and will pair with the 315 rears.
But, should one opt for 295 rears, for AH considerations (f/r diameters), the fronts would need to be 295's as well.
FRONTS:
P275/40ZR17 M 10.3" 25.5"
P295/35ZR17 M 10.8" 25.3"
REARS:
P295/30ZR18 M 10.8" 25.3"
P315/30ZR18 M 11.8" 25.6"
Regards,
Denny

I don't think AH is a concern when shopping for competition tires.
