Instructor/Crew Chief Available
Barring something really weird, I’ll have about a month before the runoffs (early October), so I’ll be available to either instruct or crew chief anyone that needs it. I charge $300/day plus expenses (travel, hotel, etc). After October, I'll be available in November and December
If you really want to get “high speed,” I can bring my DL1 data acquisition device too. We can look at your information and dissect where you can pick up time. If you wish, I will also drive your car so we can compare the differences. It’s an extra $150 per day for the service, but well worth it.
For that price, you get a dedicated professional driver with 5 Southeast Division T1 National Titles, 50+ race wins, over 65,000 track miles (in over 20 different makes and models), 15 years instructing, 9 years racing, 6 SCCA runoffs, 36 different tracks, and 8 current or former track records.
If you’re racing, doing a Driver’s Education (DE), or just renting a race track, I’ll be available. For those doing schools or renting a track to help set up their car and/or learn, I will provide in-car instruction. I will also be happy to drive your car if you like to help get the proper handling. I teach not only the basics of driving, but also get into the advanced techniques of car control and racing. I’ve instructed for Car Guys, Chin/TracQuest, Track Time, and car clubs too numerous to mention.
You can contact me at home in Fayetteville, NC:

Oh, and if I can't get you at least 2 seconds improvement from your opening session, or if you don't feel like my instruction is worth it, you don't pay a dime. That's my guarantee!

This is a good deal for the novice to the pro. Even if you think you are doing everything right, guys with this much experience can find little things that add up to a reduction in lap times.

2 Seconds, that would be well worth the money. What a great offer.

Personal anecdote..
Chris instructed me just once at Mid Ohio about six years ago and decoded turn T7 (end of the backstretch) for me.
Today that lesson still allows me to open up a car length on 99% of the racers (by T8) who are on my bumper at the entrance of #7.
He's a world class teacher and nice guy.

Chris:
Are you going to be at Aryan's Car Guys HPDE on the Full Course at VIR on Outober 11 and 12? He says he's had discussions with a dealership that has the potential of bringing many more cars to the event. So he clearly needs some good instructor leadership and good instructors. This event was initially listed as just the North course, but VIR has provided the full course for this event. He also has a special rate at the Lodge at VIR of $79 par night.
I'm planning to be there, to help with the instruction, along with several from the Phila/Wilmington,DE area.

this is a great deal from Chris. Most pro drivers charge $800-1000/day plus expenses. And Chris is just as good...and Patient!!!!
If you want to get faster...this is the best money you can spend.

As a professional driver, instructor, and coach, I can tell you that having known Chris for a number of years now (jeez, almost 10! - that went by quick!!) that this is a good value. He's a great driver and instructor. I highly recommend him.
When working with a coaching client who is going to a new (to them) track, I often buy his videos and then have him send them directly to the client to get some pre-experience of it.

Not that I know this guy, but something like this is worth more than the various high dollar schools out there. I have had instructors who are club racers, and the knowledge is great.
I like the part about the 65000 track miles.

The second rule of racing though is "Don't chase bad tires"...so it'll be up to you if you want to change them out for fresh(er) ones or not.
