Default LG Radiator Performance

My wife and I were out at Portland Int'l Raceway last Friday participating in a school and HPDE. We had record heat that day. It hit 104 at about 1pm. The track temperature was measured at 140 degrees.

One of the first things we did to the track car was install an LG supercool radiator and oil cooler. I was very interested at how the cooling system would perform since we don't get that hot in the Northwest very often. Added to that, since my wife and I both drive, we had back to back sessions all day.

I was very pleased with the results. I never say coolant temps over 195degrees. Oil temps stayed between 205 and 210.

Unfortunately, with all the insulation stripped out of the car, the interior was like an oven!

My wife suggested that cool shirts might be an appropriate addition in the future.
