Default Need Tire Pressure Advice - Topeka Solo Nationals

I will be in Topeka competing in the SCCA Solo Nationals next week. I have never run on the surface before and wanted some advice on tire pressure for V710 Kumhos (295/40/17 Front and 315/35/18 rear). The car is an 01 C5 Convertible with Z06 springs, Bilstein shocks & BMR sway bars.

Locally, I run 29-34 PSI hot in the front and 25-26 PSI hot in the rear on our ashphalt.

Thanks!

Maybe 1-2psi lower. The grip level may not be much different for you, especially after the the surface rubbers in after the 1st day's runs.

It will be cooler, 50-70 degrees. So you may wish to lower pressures just for that.

Good luck and have fun

Stop by the middle Kumho Tires garage friday and introduce your self. I should be there by 7:15 AM.

I can help you out and see where you should be. Like the guys said, It is cooler here this week so lower pressures are in order.

Keep your rains handy too, not looking good on the radar.

Thanks! Unfortunately no rain tires for me so if it rains, I am screwed!

I am running # 97 ASP
