Default 10-10th's and Putnam Park= A Great Event!

I'm starting this thread for everyone that attended the 10-10ths Event this past weekend at Putnam Park.
My new friend Southern_Son (Can't remember your name, but can definitely remember the great ride in your car!) Posted about the event under another thread that I started about getting a motel in Clorverdale. I think all that could get lost with the title and all.

It was great finally meeting some of the guys that have posted here and finally getting to match the faces with the 'handles'.
I had the Black c-5 Z06 with the silver gray CCW Wheels and the number 54 on the top post. If we were on the track at the same time I was the one that was always in front of you, not because I was so fast, but all you guys in the 'hot' green group had caught up with me.

This was my second event and I was very happy with the way 10-10th's ran the event. Issues that happen on the first session were quickly addressed and didn't happen again. I really like the way Bill stresses SPORTSMANSHIP, after all we're all out for a good, safe time.

After my first session my instructor, Tony Wiesenhahn, and I settled down and had a super time. I think Tony adjusted his teaching style
to fit with this old fart truck driver that is more comfortable pushing 18 wheels down the interstate than 4 wheels around a racetrack.

10-10th's... Like the Terminator said........I'll be back!

The thing I like most about Putnam is how easy it is to come up to speed quickly. It is amazing how fast one can get the second and third time there. And it works very well to determine what works and what doesn't as one makes adjustments to the car. Of course, it is a very safe track.

Let's all get together there again with 10/10ths soon.

I don't think that 10/10th's is going back to Putnam. I thought I heard Mike say that his schedule for next year is going to be all at Bluegrass????

We had a great time as usual. Bill puts on a great event and the weather was perfect on Saturday for such a scary forecast.

Bill:

I see that you have some pictures of the event on your website, but not a lot. Where's all the ones that Keith took?

it's been a very busy week. should have them online by sunday evening.
Bill, Kudos on another great event. came home and put 3 new wheel bearings in the car. finally got the vibration out of it. drives like a new car. I spent most of my time taking pictures. Didn't run a lot, but the 2 sessions I did run were fun and felt real good. I can't make the one Nov 1 but will be back next year. Bill, I think I have another recruit for next year. Will be taking him autocrossing next weekend and he wants to try the track too.
