Default Corvette Carrol at Petit Le Mans

How do I register to get into the Corvette Carrol at Petit Le Mans? I have looked every where I know to look and cannot find a place to sign up.

how far in advance do you usually have to sign up for the carrol? I might make it down to the Atlanta next month.

Nothing online - you have to call there, and they will sign you up ... don't forget to mention Johnny O'Connell's Charity!

When you call the track to order your tickets, just mention that you would like the money to go the Johnny O'Connell Charity fund, and they will get your tickets right in the mail. And they can do Corvette Coral as well. See you there !!!

Call Road Atlanta direclty and tell them your interested in the Corvette corral.

I've heard its filling up fast. Not sure if they'll cut it off or not.

Just called up Road Atlanta at number listed above. I bought a ticket and signed up for the Corvette Corral. There appears to be a $15 fee for the corral since I was charged that much more plus tax for the ticket. Ticket will be mailed. According to their web site, Sept. 19 is the last day for advanced ticket purchases.
Thanks for the information.

Correction: Sept. 19 is the last day to have advanced ticket purchase mailed to you. After that tickets will be at "will call".

BTW: I think they've moved the corvette's corral area to a different spot then the normal on the left right after the bridge this year....

I wonder if they are going to stick on the right where the P-cars were last year...looked mucho smaller than the area we had...

Nope, from the pamplet the sports bar/grill is going to be where the old Corvette corral was, and the corrals are all shown down further on the left across from vendor village after the first split in the road and the walk down to the pits trail. We'll see. I thought the old Corvette corral had the perfect spot (other then the hilly terrain).

dumb question now that I have tickets, what exactly happens at the coral? is there a schedule for when the race teams will show up? I was planning on packing a cooler full of food for the day? Any other suggestions on what to bring?

They have a BIG covered tent with tons of tables to hide under the sun from. Usually have some water/pop available for free. They usually have BIG screen TVs to watch the race on. They usually have a few new GM Corvettes on display. They usually have tech talks (michelin tires, new GM accessories, about the C6R race team, etc). They have drawings for pace-car rides, hot-pit tours, etc. There is a "car show" where sometimes the ALMS C6R drivers (Fellows, Beretta, Mags, etc) come and pick the winners. They also allow 100 corvettes to do a few parade laps around Road Atlanta (its Thurs night this year). Plus you get to meet and hang out with other enthusiasts.

Here is a link to the Corvette corral agenda:

Hope this helps!
