Chin at Sebring
Who else is going to be at Sebring with Chin this weekend?
I'm #38 - a white C4. I'll probably be parked out in the paddock area with a huge stacker trailer - white. We'll probably have a yellow C6 there too.

was there on Sat, but a service charge system DIC message cut my day short. wasn't the battery, pulleys were turning and all. Lucky I had the trailer! The car was just draining the battery and after the first session I put 'er on the trailer (just got it). I did see the Enzo there.
Thanks to Mike C, Dennis and Matt for stopping by to offer help.

That Enzo was nice, and very loud. He pulled off to the right of the track ( why he stayed on track i have no clue ) and stopped after 13. Not sure what that was all about, but no black flag so I guess he got whatever working again.
The ZR-1 had a nice sound to it as well.

BTW the R6's are amazing. The Cobalt XR2's did very well. I'll try the single pad Cobalt's before deciding on a BBK.

However, it's good to see that he uses the car for its intended purpose. A true Ferrari guy! Nice guy as well... he actually gave some kid (18 ish) a ride.

Guys, I was there yesterday till 1:30 when it started to rain, did it clear up??
I got some info from the Chin group, so I can get an Instructor for the Dec dates and
Solo. there was some nice cars, one of the instructors (Andy)went around with the ZR1
driver to get his solo and mentioned that it was as fast out of the corners as the Enzo, really put him back in the seat!!!!

I'm real happy with them, but that could be due to the upgrade in tires as well. Went from stock to R6's and felt the tires could/are out perform the brakes. If I get to it tonight I will pull them off and check for wear. This was my third day on the pads. I have a set of used DTC 70's I'll swap next time I'm out for better comparison. I will certainly go with the single pad design when it's time for new ones.

I'm running Sport Cups. The Hawks DTC 70's on the front have lasted 3 events, all at Sebring. DTC 60 on the rear. Also running DBA rotors. I'd like to find pads that might last a little longer.

The Enzo made some incredible noise as it went past. The ZR1 was actually quiet by comparison.
I got out just as the downpour started on Sunday.
If you guys haven't run the short course you should sign up now. I love the short course for a change of pace. It's a totally different Sebring experience. Just make sure that your brakes are really really good. Your brakes will never cool off on the short course.

I posted my Sebring photos last night. Nothing great but they're interesting. I know all of you wish you were back at Sebring right now. Sebring in the rain is still better than working.

Great pictures, I was there with the Orange open wheel car, DSC3581, It has a 1300cc Hyabusa engine, he was breaking it in, running 70% power, He ran it wide open 2 times in front of the pits just to get an afr reading, neet car.
Next time I'll come around and introduce myself, I have an aircraft repair biss at the Airport, and live in Avon Park. Have plenty of parking at home and 3000 sqft Garage with carlift.
