Default DRM Ducting ?

Just curious if anyone has found any benefit to having the rotor bracket attachment for the DRM brake ducts on a C6 versus just installing the ducting according to manufacturer instructions. I think what i'm trying to explain is similar to the way some spindle ducting is held in place.

Not sure I can answer your question, but on my C5 I use the simple Phoenix spindle duct to hold the ducting hose that runs from the DRM duct to the spindle so that air is actually directed into the rotor vanes ...
