It was very cool to see the Donahue name in the winner's circle. He drove that Porsche masterfully around the lesser powered but well driven Ganassi Lexus.
Way to go David.

Damn that is close driving, for that 24 hour SPRINT RACE
great job to all competitors.
And to David Donohue, 40 years after his fathers victory.
so when are we going to see AJ in a DP ?

Great racing - especially there at the end. It's incredibly impressive that after 24 hours of racing, the top 3 were still duking it out on-track - AWESOME!
Bummer for all the guys with Ford powerplants - 5 broken crank triggers? I expect they will be finding an alternate vendor for that particular part.

Glad to see the 58 car get a win.

My question is was it the crank position sensor or the reluctor wheel? A crank position sensor on a street car is a 20 min replace. The reluctor wheel requires a new crank which in the rules is a no no.

I don't think 12 pounds made any material difference. Grand am recognized the magnitude of the infraction with its penaties... It was enough to draw a fine, but not enough to effect the race results...
Great battle at the end and some interesting post race comments by winners and losers......

Now that was working hard. Sumbitch those guys were on it every lap. Run has hard as you can for 23hrs, then turn it up more. I could feel the team's relief when the white flag came out.
