I'm sure Lou will weigh in on this. It seems that the BMW GT2 team is getting some special rules. The BMW wasn't all that impressive in Winter Testing so it seems some phone calls got placed.

"there are three specific “allowances” given the Bavarians: the wing can be higher, the rear suspension mounts can be relocated from stock, and the V8 can be moved rearward."

What no supercharger???
I'm guessing that BMW is putting up a little sponsorship cash to ALMS, kind of like when Caddy started racing in Speed GT, but I'm guessing if BMW does have an advantage they won't be dumb enough to go from worst to 2nd in there first race like Caddy did at there Sebring debut!!

if it keeps the racing tight, fine. But if bmw starts running away with it then I have issues.
