Default C6Z Seat Base for Sparco

I just bought a Sparco seat, I have the sliders and everything else I need....except the base.

I see a lot of guys are fabricating their own seat bases, but I don't think I will have to time to get it done.

Sparco doesn't have a base available yet. I know Pfadt has one but it goes for $300.

Are there any alternatives out there or should I just call Pfadt and place the order?

PS I'm going to VIR for the first time, in 3 weeks. Sweet.

Are you using a slider with the base?

I use the Sparco base and slider. Just keep in mind tall riders beware. With the base, slider, and seat at it lowest setting, with a helmet I have very little clearance. BTW, the slider is not like that in a regular car, it is rock solid once set in place.

yes, i plan on using a slider. And I'm 6'0", so is it worth it to get the Pfadt seat base....that seems to sit a little lower.

I have a hardbar seat mount, not being used right now for my c5, but I think its the same for c5/c6, if you want to test fit your more then welcome to try.

Thanks for the offer, but I need to figure this out pretty quick so I'll do a little more digging. Thanks again for offering, much appreciated.

If you take the slider out of the equation you may fit, otherwise you will most likely not fit. I am about 5'10.5" and there is less than 1/2" clearence.

I do know from personal experience that the Hardbar rails sit lower than the Sparco, so based on your height, that may be the best route. I am not familar with PDfat

I have the Phadt unit with Sparco slider and all is well. I am 5' 11.5" and fit fine. I have Sparcos in my street car on factory rails and they are too high.
