Here are some different videos that I have been playing around with. Everyone tells me, do more videos, do more videos. We have some on our website and more are going to be added! Still working on the lighting and sound. www.dougrippie.com

"Nice" assortment of videos Randy. Keep 'em coming.

BTW, on the vid of the S/C C6 on the dyno, it appears that the brake lights go on at the end of the pull. Kinda hard on the brakes to try and slow that big dyno inertia drum down isn't it???

I watched the full video last night after I got home. The brakes were released right after the video cut, maybe 2 senconds. I asked Doug about it today. He said with the 3.15 and 2.73 gears in the autos the wheel speed is just crazy. So he cuts some of the speed down with the car.

I have a feeling that the traction control will wear out the brakes trying to keep the car on the road in the spring and fall.

I don't understand this part:

There is two new and two old bushings used for the test
Why was the test done this way?

I replaced the lower bushing in the car because they were getting old. The uppers were in great shape, so no need for replacement. I try to be up front and honest about things. So that is why I throw that in the description. This spring I have a full new bushings install planned on a customer car, so I will do a drop test on that also. This video was shot on Sunday night about 11pm and -6 degrees outside. I owed this video to a member on here, he has been asking about poly bushings and how they can "hang or bind" Which isn't the case.

Randy
PS I have been just playing around with different angles and shots to see feedback. This is one that will not make the website.

Your car is way too sexy to leave out of the videos. I have a couple pictures of your car already, I have you penciled in for a couple videos. One of them being about coilovers and the other one about setup up a car on the scale pads!!!

We would rather keep the rebuilding stuff on the downlow. Anyways you can't capture a smell on a video. I caught the smell from in my office. It was blacker then dirt, smelt like it just got done putting out a fire.
