I'm surprised to see the main roll hoop being connected a plate around the rear bumper. If that is indeed the case, seems like an impact at the rear would be transmit quite a load to the roll hoop and alleviate some of the crumple zone. Maybe I am misinterpreting the pictures.

I like that cross bar behind / below the seats. I see no point in the curvy bar along the tunnel, unless it's the seat attachment.

Dan I'm with you, it will protect the fuel cell but really trasfer those forces to the driver.

16 seconds to get out? NASA only allows 10...

Brian is this a forum member? He should get the lightweight roof panel from Melrose. Much thinner than the stock roof.

Yeah just figured that out. I guess he's not too worried about rear impact at 230 mph!

Yes its a salt flat car, the rear end is to mount the parachute to .
I was afraid that repeated chute deployements over 220 would deform the original rear. and sence weight is not and issue, its beefy.

the curvey things are the seat base mounts.

I've heard C4s make the best texas mile (high speed) cars because they're longer and narrower than a C5 or C6.
