Default 2009 Sebring 12-Hour - LG Motorsports #28 GT2 C6

I haven't see a thread started yet, but in reading the official ALMS Sebring entry list and Lou's posts in previous threads it seems that the team is going to make the race this year.

I am excited to see the GT2 class; with 15 entries it should be fantastic race.

Best of luck to LG and the LGM crew; first results should be Monday and make for a very interesting week!

Eric Curran and Lucas Molo, along w/LG, listed as drivers of the #28

Results from Monday's test session:

#28 is 9th of 13 GT2 cars running the session, about 2 sec (2:06.2 vs 2:04.0) off leading #95 F430GT.

LT&S does not show who's running what rubber, but IIRC both LGM and RLR are on Dunlops, and the #28 is about 1 sec behind the leading #92 RLR BMW (2:05.3)

Let's all give a big shoutout to the Primetime racegroup #11 viper. They hooked up my c6z for the track and are an independent team who came in 5th last year. the co driver Chris Hall coached me for a full day at Sebring and took 5 sec off my lap! I see Joel Feinberg all the time at the shop and he is a great guy. I love Lou's vette but I hope the #11 team does well. The whole crew are the shop guys who work on my cars. Good Luck to all.

We wish the best to Lou, Eric and Lucas!

We also want to mention Louis, Anthony, Mike and the rest of the guys behind the scenes at the track working long, long hours to help bring it all together!

Good Luck Lou and the entire LGM team
Best of Luck to the #11 Primetime Viper also.

Only 2 entries in GT1, #3 and #4

Can't wait until they move to GT2 in June

it was a whopping 3 entries last year iirc, but the 008 Aston Martin had some bad luck and missed a lot of races trying to put the car back together after getting crashed out

good luck to the LG crew!

Anybody know why the #28 slowed down and has now been in the pits for several laps?

Looks like transmission failure. Shame.

At time of writing if LGM had continued at current pace and position they would be P4 in class right now

Here are a bunch of pictures of Lou and the #28 team from Sebring yesterday. Once Lou gets home I'm sure he'll explain exactly what happened to the car. The hardest part was how well the car was running until the problem occurred. That made it especially heart breaking.
