Anyone here install a roll bar in a c4? Any pictures. How tough is it to put it. Is there a differnece vert vs coupe. Will a vert bar work in a coupe?
Thanks jamie

I just had a six point done in my 94. The guy who did it didn't have much trouble with it. He builds tube chassis cars for dirt track guys so he is used to welding obviously. He said the hardest part was finding the metal frame to weld to. He got it up very close to the top at the window and by the halo but you can still take the top in and out.
He was going to charge 100.00 to paint it before he did the final install but I figured I could do it. Probably one of the worst ways to save a couple of bucks. Painting the cage AFTER it is in the car is no fun at all.

Yes but I'm trying to remember how to post them on here. I've got them on Photobucket but don't recall the rest of the instructions on how to get them on here. I'll have to do a search and read the directions again.

Maybe this will work for pics. Lot of finish work to be done. Aluminum dashpad, interior door panels, trim plates where the rear bars connect to the frame, etc. And of course, clean up the paint mess I made.

I am a little concerned. I bought an autopower bar off a guy on ebay and then found out it a bar for a vert and not a coupe. He assures me that it will fit. I hope so. Should be here on wed. I gutted the back ouf the car in preperation let hope all is well

Thanks Aaron. Now I just have to get the rest of it back together before the first event this weekend. The parts are "supposed" to be here Thursday afternoon.
Cutting it a little close with having to get an alignment done too.

Thanks guys it looks like I just have a bit of cutting and then visit the welder. I just hope that the vert bar fits the coupe. Anyone have any ideas on this?
