I'm coming up too..... North isn't my favorite but should be a nice event nonetheless.

Hi Brandon, will hopefully see you there. I'm signed up for Red, and will be there if my slave cylinder is back together by then - the new cylinder began leaking Sunday at the Asphalt Ventures VIR event last week and is being replaced. I'm trying to pull another rabbit out of a hat again this week by working on the clutch 4 days prior to the event. We'll see -

Trailers make several things easier, at the expense of having an excuse now to carry 3 times as much crap to the track!

Car's back together and running, so I'm in. Will see you guys in a few days.

Ron, we're looking forward to seeing you again soon - start of another fun HPDE season. I'll be in Red Group. I'll have to take it easy the first session since I just mounted a new set of Hoosiers on the rear. You sure know how to pick your instructors - Dave is an awesome "co-pilot": you'll have fun learning a lot! I'll be parked on Corvette Hill. Mike

There's 3 or 4 power poles on the hill. Bring a bicycle.

Does anyone have a extra set of used Hawk Blues or similar front pads that they want to part with this weekend? During my big move to the my new shop, my pads vanished. Since this will be my last event with the vette... i really don't want to throw down $150+ for a set of pads that aren't gonna get used more than this weekend. Pm me if you do.
Thanks!

I might be up on the hill, got people from the RX7 crowd that i've always run with in the past that will be over closer to the grid. Looks like i'll be running back and forth between the 2 areas!

I have a slightly used set of Z06 front pads you can have - definitely enough meat for the weekend.

got photos of quite a few of you this weekend. I'm still uploading, but should be available soon at:

http://picasaweb.google.com/y2khardtop

Some pretty good ones here and there. I'm too lazy (and busy instructing) to move around too much, but good shots where the sun cooperated.

No pics of mine... guess if i had kept it on the track a lil longer this weekend you'd got one of it though.

Thanks to everyone that helped out with my car issues this weekend, and as always, good to see you out there again. As an update, the car is now smoking out the left side, so it's looking kinda grim. I'll be pulling the SC and left head off tomorrow to start looking for the damage. I'll possibly start a thread and post pics depending out how i feel during the tear down.

David - thanks for the pics! Great seeing everyone out there - track and weather conditions were perfect.

"GreyGT-C" Shannon, I hope you got your C5 home ok - I'm sure you'll have it repaired soon.

"RedLS6" Chris, good running with you in Red Group - you drove the wheels off her.

"C5 XTC" Ron, look forward to seeing you and Art Bell "V8 Juice" again at NCM VIR (when we arrive early for the Chin event the next day).

"94ZR1#444" - Mark, yours is the 1st 500hp LT5 I've seen - nice!

"bgx12" Brandon, how did you like the North Course?

Mike
