Sorry, no GT1 Corvettes... I think they will race Long Beach in GT1 and LeMans, and that will be it for the GT1 program...

Yes and in HD! Looks great, I think this is the first time I have seen one in HD. Lou just narrowly missed a spinning viper.

from the race pit notes:

Lou Gigliotti (#28-GT2 Chevrolet Riley Corvette C6) "We are always the eternal optimists. Our tires went out from under us early. We picked the wrong compound. But we have Eric now behind the wheel. We put in so much time (preparing for the race). There is a lot left in this car. We are glad we are here. This is probably the best team we have had in two years."

Very happy to see the LG team make the event, and for the good run they had.

Also, glad to see the them finally getting some well deserved air time, too.

Thanks guys,

It was a good race for us but we did make an incorrect tire compound choice. We went with the softer tires for the street course but they went off about half way.

Eric did a great job just holding on to the car with it sliding around.

Full race report coming

Thanks

Lou G

Great race LG, 4th is a hell of an effort for a privateer, just a matter of time and you'll be on the podium

Way to go Lou.

I was surprised at the nice things they had to say about LG on the tv, nice coverage.
