A number of us have the DBA 4000 single piece rotors. I don't think they're too much different in price from the stock rotors, and they don't have the holes to create stress risers, although they do have slots:

http://www.tirerack.com/brakes/resul...lar=&brand=DBA

Tire Rack has a special on them right now at a very good price of $133 each. Forum vendor Atomic Autosports also has them available.

DBA also makes a 2-piece, the DBA 5000, and you can see Tire Rack has the front ones available on that link above.

There are also many other 2-piece, but like the DBAs, all the 2-piece are much more expensive.

OEM rotors are actually pretty good, considering the non-directional design and holes. I've tried the RB's, but for the money I'd follow the advice above on the DBA's

As stated above, OEM's are very good even though they have holes. I am still on my original rears after almost 2 years.

btw...Gene Culley sells them for $123F and $95R. What I actually like about the fact that the left and the right are the same...at any time you only need to carry 2 extra rotors (1 front and 1 rear). You don't need to worry about left or right.

We make a 2 piece rotor that is a direct replacement for the C6 Z06. We use Coleman Racing rotors and machine the aluminum hats ourselves. Our rotors are 100% made in the USA, directional, correctly vented, slotted only - no holes, and weigh 9.75 pounds less then the stock rotor each. We also have a 2 piece design for the rear as well.

Give us a call if interested or if you have any questions.

+2 or 3 or whatever on the stock rotors or DBAs...

I've tried Racing Brake and Brembos but for the money I'd probably go the DBA route even though I put the stock ones back on.

Where did you find them??? :

I've been looking for those, but I can't find a supplier. I see on the DBA site that they make them, but all the sources I find for DBA rotors all have only the slotted ones.

I'm on my second set of fronts - I cracked the first set:

..............

You can see where the slot created a stress riser and the crack went right through the slot.

I'd like to get the smoothies if the price is about the same as Tire Rack's $133 each.

Personally, I have had very bad results with the DBAs on the rear. I cracked one after 6 days of tracking and the other had very bad heat cracks and was ready to go. From other guys that are tracking, the stock rears will problably last longer than the DBAs. I was running Hawk DTC 60s for pads. I'm going back to stock rotors on the rear and see how they do, I have Brembo's on the front. You can buy stock rears for $76.00 each plus shipping. And that is for a C6-Z06. Just my .02 JD

Can you share where you getC6Z rear rotors for $76? I bought them from Gene Culley at the forum discount at $95 and I thought that was cheap.
