Default Look what came in the mail today!

teaser...

Now I've just got to waterjet some mounts, learn to weld and get a splitter/front bumper/undertray and I'll be good to go!

I bet this takes me 2 months.

Its by a company called Kognition out of California. He's an upstart who got a hold of a killer aerofoil, and has some serious fabrication/laminate skills. He's got his wing on a lot of the west coast time attack cars and soon mine.

Wally, I have a Mig welder and can weld some stuff up for ya. I'm not far from you.

Let me know.

I might take you up on that, but I really do want to learn how to weld myself. I think as far as racecars go, welding would be a pretty useful skill.

You can weld it right to the back decklid. Don't believe all that BS about dissimilar materials.

I'm actually planning to weld it to the roof. Should be plenty of clean air up there.
