Default FS: CCW Corsairs and slicks for C6 Z06

I have a set of CCW C14 Corsairs 18x11 front and 18x13 rear for sale. They are anodised brushed clear. They are Z06 sizes. They are in excellent condition as they were only used a couple times for a handful of laps. The tires have maybe 4 heat cycles. The car is a TT 427 and I just ran a few laps each time testing cooling issues. I'm also 99.9% certain they have sensors installed.

Wheels are sold

I also have a Kent More TPMS tool I will sell separately.
Here's a pic:

If you want just rims, dvandentop is interested in the tires. I was hoping to avoid separating them but I guees I could do it.

Interested in the package. Can you tell me a little more about the tires. Also, to verify wheel size, they will fit a c6z06 correct? Wanting to go to 18's on the rear. Thanks. jerry 423-280-8414

Car has done 4 or 5 sessions at the track of a bout 5-6 laps at a time. We were sorting out the temps (the car has a 427 TT.) The wheels are the Z06 size and backspacing. The car has Z06 size fenders. The wheels also clear Brembos.

Forgive my ignorance, but just now looking for high performance tires for track use. Had sort of focused in on Hoosier A6 or R6. How would you rate the Goodyear Racing slicks to those tires. Also, have you found a tire in z06 sizes that works well in rain. Thanks alot. Jerry

Great price. I just ordered some CCW C10s a few weeks ago. The wheels alone are worth the price you're asking, let alone with tires.

Thanks San

jstout, these are real slicks. they are a level above the Hoosiers. They are worse on the first lap when cold, but once heated they stick better than the A6 and R6. I run R6s on the same car for the street but with grooves cut in them.

Regarding rain are you looking for track rain or street rain?

Sorry to not get back to you sooner. Been a long day. Need track rains, and also looking to go to wheels with 18's on the rear for dry tracking. Have understood for a long time that going down a size is like a pretty good increase in the rear axle ratio, making the car feel like it has more torque. So looking for extra wheels and tires for dry, and looking for track rains to use my stock wheels with since more torque in the wet isn't usable. I started doing HPDE's last year, have moved up to group 2 at most tracks, and want to keep progressing. Heading to Kershaw SC for Nasa event this weekend, but forecast is showing good chance of rain. Did Nasa Road Atlanta a number of weeks ago in the rain, and its good experience, but not near as much fun as in the dry. Of course, I was on worn out F1's also. Managed to pick up several used sets of F1's with 5 to 6/32nds of tread. I'll use my last set this weekend. Really had hoped to work this all out prior to heading out, but just got to busy. I am seriously interested in your wheels and tires, and any advice you would have on the rains. The MTI guys advise to use A6's for rains, because they heat up faster and grip better, but just seems strange to use a tire with only 2 longitudinal grooves as a rain tire. Then again, I'm no expert. If your schedule permits, give me a call tomorrow. 423-280-8414. Maybe we can work something out. Thanks again. Jerry

I'm sorry Jerry, I changed the original post but forgot to add something at the bottom of the thread. The wheels already sold. However, for track tires in the rain Hoosier A6's will work if you have them grooved. I have only ever driven race cars in the rain and they run on race tires. I have driven on Michelin and Pirelli wets. This is the reason for 18's. It gives you the option to use real race slicks. You could probably get old Grand-Am tires to work. The Corsairs are a perfect wheel for this.
