Default FS - Cool Vest

Cool Vest - SOLD

Here is something that might be of interest to you racers.

The 2 “ice packs” are put in the cooler along with your soft drinks and ice. They get really cold and get sort of semi-solid when they are ready to use. The ice packs fit in the front and back of the blue vest. The ice packs Velcro in place and the vest has Velcro fasteners to position It on your body. I don’t remember if these things come in different sizes but it is pretty adjustable with the Velcro fastening system. If it helps, I weigh about 170 lbs. and wear a size 40-42 jacket.

The colored bands at the top of the photograph are neckerchiefs. They work the same way as the vest. Soak them in the water in your ice chest and they swell up and stay cold. Wrap them around your neck before going out and the help keep you cool,

You can recharge all this stuff after your race session by storing them back in your cooler. They will keep you cool for about an hour, maybe longer, and that’s in Florida.

I raced SCCA road races. I would put these on, line up on the grid and race for about 45 min. and they would still be cool after the session. This makes an economical, compact, light, easy to use cooling system for racers.

I’d like $50 for the vest and neckerchiefs and I can ship them Priority Mail for another $15. I can take PayPal or VISA/MasterCard.
