65lbs of Stoptech goodness!!!
First let me say I was really thinking about just spending another year on the stock C5 brakes, or "upgrading" to the LG-Stop kit. Late last year a set of DBA 5000 rotors showed up at my door for me to try out, and they are AMAZING. Seriously, I was skeptical of using 2 piece rotors and I've been converted. I'll never make another rotor order from rock auto again! The DBA's are actually wearing like normal rotors, and the best part is if/when the crack/wear out, replacement rings are CHEAP! Never the less, that does not solve the pad taper that makes pads not last long at all. I've been talking with Ken form KNS Brakes\z06Brakes for a while, he has been my brake guy for years, and he has a "subtle" way of saying stoptechs are the best brakes for the money, and its silly to get anything else. I finally bit the bullet and this is what i got with my tax refund!
Ken let me know the box was on its way, and it was "big." I'm thinking like 20-30lbs big... no, this box was freaking HUGE! 65lbs worth of stoptech goodness!!!! I cannot WAIT to put these on the car, with a set of DTC-70 pads that were included, I cannot wait to not worry about the brakes for the rest of the year
Big Thanks to Ken at KNS Brakes/Z06Brakes.com
You all should see him on here a LOT more after he purchases his c5z ;-)

Those look awesome!
What is cheap for replacement rings after eating the initial cost? I run the G-Stop kit so I wouldnt mind upgrading to a better rotor to go with it.

Got the car running, and honestly it was something duct tape could have fixed at the track... I'm a little pissed but its another issue solved and something I know how to fix in the future if need be.
St-2 > T1 although with your schedule having a t1 car is best, you can run both and be fast in both

Looking good Ross.
Hey,
The short block is yours for the taking. Tired of pushing it around the garage. The new motor is back in the box and will be making a trip back to it's birth place. It sounds like the shop will take care of it.
