Need Help, broken at Road Atlanta
Running at Road Atlanta with HSR this weekend, first lap in the second test session developed a terrible vibration and noise in the drive train. Tore it down and found that one of the bolts on the front bushing had broken, busted the bushing on the front end, messed up the bushing,, and generally wreaked havoc in the drivetube. To make a long story short I need a torque tube, anyone in the area have a lead on one?

Got one in B'ham, later model, larger tube, 12mm bolts, came out of an '03 Z. I know its a drive for you, but if you know of someone coming through the area, we're just South of B'ham, about 20 minutes from Barber. Its out of the car and sitting as a spare for mine. I'll be at the shop 9-6 cst.

Rob, you are the man! We finally made it out on the track, we missed the last scheduled session with our group but they let run with another a little later in the day. Thanks to everyone who replied.

You've got that right, even if its not pouring, just a steady rain, there is a river there. Middle of turn 12, same thing, it just takes you and tosses you to the left a few feet, so take it easy for a few laps so you can get used to that too.
