Default Floorboard covering

The guy with the red T1 C5 was asking about a floor covering awhile back and I tried to find his post but I couldn't. Here's a link to the material he was probably looking for.

http://www.racerstape.com/rtp.html

I'd like to find some sort of thin rubber mat for mine, something that would stay in place on the bare floor. I've seen rubber mats in round track cars before that were rivited in place, they look nice, easy to clean, and wouldn't leave you straddling a door bar on a rainy day. But so far no luck.

Any ideas?

I would like a sturdy rubber mat (or other durable material) to put over the carpet & save the wear. I take the flimsy stock one out.

Maybe one of those weather tech, whatever they are.

Also (for stock car) something to cover the driver speaker mesh, my knee is putting a big dent in it.

Maybe velcro a custom bit of plastic over it?

Guess I can fab it up.

Lots of little bits to make the car work better in competition.
