We've got a plethera of spare 315's lyin around! Unfortunately, I'll be burning them up at the test n tune this weekend.

What are you planning on doing with these...? Track days? Or is an ESP camaro after them?

I have 4 used size 315-35ZR/17 Hoosier A6 tires. The tread is good, but I have replaced them with newer tires for road racing. Would not recommend them for that only because they would not be as competitive as newer tires, but they are still very useable. I would continue to use them for practice tires if I did not have newer sets of A6's.

In the absence of known heat cycles, durometer readings were taken 3 places across the tire at 4 points around it with Longacre manual hardness tester. Results and other applicable information are:

TIRE Mfg Inside Outside Hardness Hardness Hardness Hardness
Date wear wear POS 1 Pos 2 POS 3 POS 4
(1) indicator indicator I/M/O I/M/O I/M/O I/M/O Comments
1 2007 4-3/32 3/32 49/63/58 57/68/59 57/69/64 56/64/57 More wear on
outside tread
2 3107 3.5-3/32 4/32 57/53/57 54/52/54 57/52/56 51/48/53 Both treads
very visible
3 2007 4-3/32 2/32 52/58/61 52/59/57 58/62/57 53/57/58 Outer tread visible
but not measurable
4 3107 4-3/32 3.5-3/32 60/62/61 56/55/57 55/55/53 57/59/59 Both treads
very visible
(1) Mfg date is week week year year (2007 = 20th week of year 07)
(2) I/M/O = inside/middle/outside of tire

For comparison, I checked two tires mounted on the car now with mfg date of 0408. Durometer readings in one position of each tire were 51//50/57 and 59/53/46.

$85 each and you pay shipping from zip code 27612. I will take them to a local UPS company store.

If CF post formatting makes the table difficult to read, PM your email address and I will send it separately.

Thanks,
Ed

If you are just looking to use them for track days I have 4 very ince Goodyears in 315/35/17. They are not sticky enough for competition but would still hold up to track days just fine!
