Please lets hear from members who have run their NT-05 street tires on track. We need some good subjective and objective information from people who actually track their tires.

Operations

I have a set on my 08 Z
Last weekend went to Texas Motorsport Ranch and ran the 3.1
I could not be more pleased,
Way better then the OEM tires by a long shot
Very predictable,
Talked to a few at the track with more tire experience, after driving my car some felt the next step above these would be the Michelin PS Cups but very expensive.
Really I do not think there is a better tire to occasionally track your car for the money
One of the instructors drove my car and thought the tires were spot-on. And for him it was obvious I need sway bars and coilovers before he could pick up any additional (significant) speed with my car.

I'm taking the Z06 to Mid-Ohio for Chin's Memorial Day event and will likely give these NT05's a shot at a 20 minute session - along with the 710's AND the A6's I'm taking along for comparison...

Planning on seeing Raftracer there - maybe he'll take the car for a spin and tell me what he thinks of them as well...

Thank you all for your comments. Donna I had previously read your very good write up, and I especially look forward to your track report.
I hope people continue to update the status of these excellent tires by adding to this race report. I have a racecar and run it on race tires. I also have a street 2004 Z06 on NT-05s and want to understand the optimum way to bring it to the track safely. Thanks again to all.
