Brian kicked our butts at the Corvette Forum Cruise In.
He showed up in his C5 Z06 on slicks and ran a 25.98 on an extremely tight course.
Val (in a C6 Z06) finished with a 26.30
And my dumbazz finished in 3rd with a 26.32
Everyone else was on street tires or 2nd, 3rd, and even 4th drivers in our cars, but no threat.
It was close, but the width of the C5 over the C6Z was a huge benefit in the incredibly tight slalom.
Again, Congrats Brian.

Craig,
Thanks a ton
I honestly came into this just hoping to keep close to you both. This was only the 5th time running the car and only 2nd on R-comps. Car still needs alot of sorting out adn I need to learn how to trust the car but it's coming together.
I was really expecting you and Val to eek me out on a last hero run and thought Val had me. He had a slight bobble after the slalom, and had he not... he'd be carrying the glass around.
Thanks again and look forward to running more with you both later this year.
