You have to get to know Rudy. Don't take him serious with that crap. He likes to blow a lot of smoke. He's got a real heart inside. His dad just died last week so he's probably not been around here lately.

Sounds like Rudy - ignore that part and look for the soft tender guy inside...

Rudy has some stories and likes to talk. He is a nice guy you need to get to understand him. I have heard he is a good instructor but never drives very hard himself. He is also not the same guy since an accident a few years ago. He was messed up pretty bad with a ZO6/Z16 vs. a semi. You know he lost that battle.

Wow, can't believe what I'm reading. Disrespectful and/or rude behavior is acceptable? I know there's two sides to every story, however people that don't act appropriately either need to be told so or they need to find something to do where they don't interact with new people to the sport. We should be encouraging new racers, not ridiculing or belittling them, and that sounds like what is happening here. My 2c.

If you find him offensive, I suggest you reach out and give him another chance. He may have a good side you haven't seen.
If you still don't care for his company, you always have the option to avoid speaking with him and as they say "if you can't say anything nice, don't say......".
Good luck.

I'm a member at Autobahn and haven't met Rudy yet. I'm not sure airing opinions about him, particularly in a public forum is going to accomplish anything positive. Ergo it will generate ill will.
