Default Corner weight set up

I just installed a set of coil overs and want to scale the car. What is the correct setup. It is a street car but does see aggressive use. Is a 50/50 front back the correct balance.

Thanks
Rod

you can't adjust front/rear weights by jacking weight. In short, you want to get your crossweights close to zero.....ie fr+rl=fl+rr You simply want the static load to be distributed evenly across the four wheels.

You have to MOVE weight in the car to change front/rear or side/side distribution

This is great, this is exactly what people need to see.

Now, forget about the front rear & side to side %'s, just look at his CORNER WEIGHTS. This should run very nicely. The car is balanced just by looking at the cornerweights.

A very important thing to remember. Not all drivers will run the EXACT same setup. You must find out where YOU like the car and where YOU run your best lap times.

Another thing to remember is most road courses can be viewed as a clockwise oval with a left hand turn, Lime Rock for example. So in that case you may also like to try a side to side split of 49% left side weight & 51% right side weight.
