I wish I could go but I am running out of money quick. It seems the year I start to get to know some people on here in my area is the year my funds are lowest. I hope to hit it full swing next year or the year after in TTC. Hopefully you guys will still be around!

This event sounds real enticing. But I have a conflict schedule-wise: I am going to be in the Seattle area attending a Navy Change of Command ceremony for the out-going commanding officer, which is VERY big for him (moreso than the incoming officer). This is Friday. It will be hard a heck for me to fly back in time to race on Saturday...but it can be done...so maybe.

I did this in 2006 for the "in-coming" ceremony. I took the red-eye from Seattle to Reagan and had my crew pick me up and drive me to Summit Point. I was dead tired for the Friday test day, but ended up doing pretty OK that day.

This time it would be much harder because there is no "cushion" day between travel and racing. But let's see how this plays out. The Navy has a way of changing everyone's plans without regard to those involved...
